Director of Photography | Visual Storyteller

Mai Barakat is a Director of Photography with years of experience in TV series, feature films, and commercial productions across Egypt and the Middle East. A graduate of the Higher Institute of Cinema, she believes cinematography is about telling stories through light, composition, and emotion. In this workshop, she shares the practical skills and creative mindset needed to become a confident cinematographer.

 

You’ll learn visual storytelling, lighting, camera movement, script analysis, and how to lead a film set with confidence while creating images that leave a lasting impact.
